Gentle Souls
We may refer to some people as “gentle souls”. Do you know any? Gentle souls go about their lives with purpose and meaning and rarely seek attention. They are content to be in the background and if other people seek the limelight, that is fine by them. Gentle souls may lead others without force or manipulation and allow people to see their vulnerability if need be. Never think of gentle souls as cowards. They would rather seek peace or happiness than to be right or argumentative.
Gentle souls may look at a clear night sky and gaze with wonder and amazement. They will be content to sit alongside those who are hurting and just “be” with them. They offer people a gift lacking in society today. Gentle souls listen to people without a need to give advice. They enjoy the company of other people. They also nurture energy from times of solitude. In the crazy busyness of the movers and shakers so revered today, gentle souls impact the world without a need for it to be popular. Sometimes fame may find them, and they receive it with grace. As a society, we need gentle souls. Be thankful for the gentle souls you may know. Undoubtedly, you receive a lot of encouragement from them through their hugs and genuine smiles. One may be with you even now!
